Ron Basi started trucking in 1978 and spent nearly twenty years driving everything from B-Trains to Lowbeds and hauling all types of material and equipment. Having had the opportunity to drive all over Canada and a good portion of the States, Ron decided to take the leap into entrepreneurship. In 1995, he started Jencam with one truck providing a 24/7 tractor service. By 2018, Jencam had grown to 25 trucks serving Vancouver Island and the lower mainland. Shortly after Jencam, Ron founded the CSTT Driver Training School in 2000 which has become one of the most reputable schools on the Island for obtaining driver training for classes 1 through 6. Having a strong connection with the driving school allows us to remain a leader in finding great talent and ensuring that we always provide the top drivers to take care of our clients deliveries.
